Album The Emerald City.

Listen to The Emerald City by The Tossers - a new album (release date: March 5, 2013) @ New Releases No. Just in time for St. Patrick's Day 2013, Chicago's Irish punk rockers the Tossers paint the town green with their eighth studio album, The Emerald City. Predating fellow Celtic punk contemporaries Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys, The Tossers are celebrated for their authentic use of traditional Irish folk instrumentation comprised of the mandolin, fiddle, tin whistle, and banjo. Truly shining with their loud, fast, and rowdy live sets, the Tossers are heading to a town near you in support of the latest effort. Belly up to the bar, down a pint, and get ready to jig the night away.

The Tossers - Emerald City 03:49. The Tossers - The Break of Dawn 02:44. The Tossers - The Fermoy Lasses and Sporting Paddy 01:46. The Tossers - Where the Beer and Whiskey Flow 02:09. The Tossers - Bombo Lane 00:32. The Tossers - USA 03:36. The Tossers - Sláinte 02:14. The Tossers - The Rover 02:24. The Tossers - Here's to a Drink with You 01:44. The Tossers - Wherever You Go 05:02. The Tossers - St. Patrick's Day 04:14. The Tossers - God Bless You 02:44. The Tossers - Johnny Mcguire's Wake 03:15. The Tossers - The South Side of Town 03:55.

The Tossers, the less popular and long distant cousin of Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys, have built up a collection of eight album releases, which is enough to show their dedication and passion to punk Irish jigs. They’re a band that have missed out on the highs of popularity with unrecognisable songs and their distinctive sound that separates them from the bigger names of that particular genre. The Emerald City’ finds the middle ground with their sound, pacing and balancing it and also bringing back the missed banjo, absent in 2008’s ‘On A Fine Spring Evening’
